Refund & Cancellation Policy

Scope
- This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all transactions conducted through the ParcelPal platform (www.parcelpal.in), including payments made by buyers to travelers and platform fees collected by the Platform.
- By using the Platform, you agree to abide by this policy in its entirety.
Refund Policy
- Connection fees are non-refundable: The connection fee paid by each party (buyer and traveler) is strictly non-refundable once paid, regardless of the outcome of the transaction.
- Product payments settled directly: Since product payments are settled directly between the buyer and the traveler outside the Platform, the Platform does not process refunds for product purchases. Any product-related refund must be arranged directly between the buyer and the traveler.
- Disputes: If a dispute arises, the Platform may assist with mediation at its sole discretion, but the Platform is not responsible for refunding any amount exchanged directly between users.
- KYC fee: The one-time KYC verification fee of ₹50 is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Cancellation Policy
- Before delivery request acceptance: If a buyer cancels their request before any traveler has accepted the order, no charges apply.
- After delivery request acceptance, before connection fee payment: If a buyer or traveler cancels after a delivery request has been accepted but before paying the connection fee, no charges apply beyond any fees already paid.
- After connection fee payment: Once the connection fee has been paid, it is non-refundable. Cancellation after connection does not entitle either party to a refund of the connection fee.
- Traveler withdrawal: Travelers may withdraw from an accepted order by notifying the Platform. Repeated or late withdrawals may impact the traveler’s reliability score and platform standing.
Non-Refundable Fees
- Platform onboarding fee: The one-time KYC verification fee of ₹50 (Rupees Fifty) is strictly non-refundable. This fee covers identity verification costs. It is charged regardless of whether the user completes the onboarding process or subsequently uses the Platform.
- Connection fee: The connection fee (per party) is strictly non-refundable once paid. This fee is charged to unlock chat and identity exchange between the buyer and the traveler. It is non-refundable regardless of whether the transaction is completed, cancelled, or disputed.
Dispute-Related Refunds
- All refund requests arising from disputes must be raised within 7 days of the expected delivery date via the Platform’s in-app dispute system.
- The Platform’s internal dispute resolution team will review each case, including any evidence submitted by both the buyer and the traveler.
- The Platform’s determination on refund eligibility and the refund amount, if any, is final and binding on all parties.
- Claims raised after the 7-day dispute window may be dismissed at the Platform’s discretion.
